Peer Review Process

All submissions undergo double-blind peer review by at least two independent experts.

Open Access

JONAGES publishes under a Creative Commons license, granting readers the right to read, share and adapt with attribution.

Plagiarism & Originality

Submissions are screened for originality. Plagiarism, self-plagiarism and duplicate publication are grounds for rejection or retraction.

Authorship

All listed authors must have substantively contributed to the research, agreed to the final version and taken responsibility for its integrity.

Conflicts of Interest

Authors, reviewers and editors must declare any financial, personal or institutional conflicts of interest.

Corrections and Retractions

JONAGES follows COPE guidelines on corrections, expressions of concern and retractions.

Complaints and Appeals

Editorial decisions may be appealed in writing to the Editor-in-Chief; complaints are reviewed by an independent editorial subcommittee.

Data Availability

Authors are encouraged to deposit underlying datasets in recognized repositories and provide access statements.
